Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! I enjoyed a healthy amount of family time and spent Labor Day with my favorite person and favorite furry friend.
We came home from our long weekend early Monday and decided to take Luna for a walk. We checked out the Carver Park Reserve near us, which was gorgeous! I am so excited to go back there again soon, particularly once the colors change.
Since this marked the end of summer, I chose to go with a slightly nautical-themed outfit I’ve been wanting to wear.
Something about this outfit made me feel ready to row a boat on a lake. It may be the stripes, or possibly the high-waisted shorts. Either way, I was digging it.
Cue the awkward cell-phone-in-pocket photo I only noticed after we came home.
The weather was so perfect for this outfit: warm, but with a nice breeze coming through the trees every few minutes. A great way to end the summer! Luna seemed pretty happy to stretch her legs in a new place, too. I’m excited to explore more trails!
And with that, I say goodbye to summer and HELLO TO FALL! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, folks. Get pumped. 😀
